Gillette will finally be building its first fenced-in off-leash dog park- named, "The O-SO Fun Dog Park"! Please join the Gillette Dog Owners Group on Saturday, Aug 29th, 2015 at 2:30 pm at the intersection of E Warlow & Hannum for the grand opening of The O-SO Fun Dog Park . Thanks to all the businesses who have donated time, labor, and materials to make this dream come true including Western Services (for the fencing), Powder River Construction, Croell Redi Mix, Baker Concrete Pumping, HDR Inc., Sign Boss, Home Depot, Hladky Construction, and Petco. Don't forget all the members of the Gillette Dog Owners Group ! Thank you so much everyone.
G.D.O.G.(Gillette Dog Owners Group) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization actively pursuing the development of an off leash fenced-in dog park in Gillette, Wyoming.
Our Mission Statement:
Gillette Dog Owners Group's objective is to create and maintain fenced-in, off-leash dog park(s) where well behaved canine citizens can exercise in a clean, safe, and friendly environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife. Promote a social bond among dog owners and raise awareness toward the proper and humane treatment of dogs.
We now have donation boxes at local businesses in Gillette, WY. Please help Gillette Dog Owners Group maintain and improve The O-SO Fun Dog Park. The boxes are currently located at The Knotty Salon, Joe's Pet Depot, Perkins, Red Hills Veterinary Hospital, and Coffee Brothers. Please support your local businesses and help our group with the leftover change!
